For the period 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024, a promoter had to register with us if it spent, or intended to spend, over $15,700 (including GST) on election advertising during the regulated period (generally 3 months) before election day.
Registered promoters had to put their name and address on any election advertisements they publish.
