Budget
To complete your application, you need to include a budget for how you plan to spend the money you are applying for.
All costs must be actual and reasonable.
Please read the budget guidelines, they contain all the information you need to complete the budget form.
To complete the budget form, you will first need to have gathered best estimates or quotes for the equipment, services and supports you are applying to have funded.

We recommend you use the Excel spreadsheet template if you can as it does all the calculations for you.
Alternatively, you can use the Word or PDF versions, or you can create your own. If you create your own, you will need to ensure your budget contains the information outlined in the budget guidelines.

- Inland Revenue - Te Tari Taake – search kilometre rates and select the appropriate income year.
Accommodation for Support Assistants
You can only apply for accommodation for a support assistant from the Fund. Your own accommodation costs need to be paid from your own budget.
Accommodation costs are up to $220 excluding GST per night.
Guidelines for Meals for Support Assistants
You can pay for meals for your support assistant from the Fund. Your own meal costs must be paid from your own budget. Maximum meal costs you can claim for are:
- breakfast: $30
- lunch: $20
- dinner: $50
