31 Aug – 20 Sep emails and texts
Emails and text messages are being sent to voters from 31 August to 20 September reminding them to check their enrolment details are up to date for the 2026 General Election.
The emails and text messages are a follow-up to the enrolment update packs posted to voters earlier this month.
You’ll receive a reminder if you gave us your email address or mobile number when you enrolled or updated your details.

Verifying it’s from the Electoral Commission
The emails will be from no-reply@easy.vote.nz and addressed to the recipient. Text messages will be sent from 5101.
The email does not include links. It does not ask you for a password, PIN, login details, money or bank account details. You don’t need those things to enrol to vote.
