Didn't get your Mt Roskill EasyVote pack? You need to enrol now.
46,000 personalised EasyVote packs were sent to Mt Roskill voters this week, giving them all the information they need to make voting in the 3 December by-election easy. However, around 6000 people in the Mt Roskill electorate are not yet enrolled and should act quickly to have their say.
“Everyone enrolled in the Mt Roskill electorate should have received their EasyVote packs in the mail by now,” says Robert Peden, Chief Electoral Officer. “If you didn’t get yours, you need to contact us now to make sure you’re enrolled and ready to vote before election day.”
Voters can check, enrol or update their enrolment at www.elections.org.nz, by calling 0800 36 76 56 or by visiting an advance voting place. People must enrol before 3 December, as they cannot enrol on election day itself.
“Your EasyVote pack has all the information you need to vote in the 3 December by-election,” says Mr Peden. “Bring your EasyVote card with you when you vote. It makes voting faster and easier. You can still vote without it, but it may take a little longer.”
