Advance & overseas voting open for Mana by-election
Advance and overseas voting for the Mana by-election runs from Wednesday 3 November until Friday 19 November, the day before election day.
People who cannot get to a polling place in the Mana electorate on election day, Saturday 20 November can vote in advance.
Advance voting
A full list of the places and opening hours of advance voting places is available.
Advance voting is available in the Mana electorate at:
- 17b Hartham Place North, Porirua City Centre
- Kapiti Community Centre, 15 Ngahina Street, Paraparaumu
Mana voters can also vote in advance at the offices of Registrar of Electors across the country or at the Electoral Commission, Vogel Centre, 19 Aitken Street, Wellington.
Contact the Mana Returning Officer if you would like a ballot paper sent to you in the mail or collected for you by someone else.
Overseas voting
If you are overseas at the time of the Mana by-election you can still vote by casting an overseas vote from Wednesday 3 November. (You can vote before you go overseas if you are in New Zealand between Wednesday 3 November and Friday 19 November).
Voters overseas can:

- Apply for postal voting papers
- Apply in person at an overseas post in four countries:
