Change to party name
On 15 October 2024, under Part 4 of the Electoral Act 1993, the Electoral Commission approved an application to register a new party name for The Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand (previously The Greens, The Green Party of Aotearoa/New Zealand).
Registered party name: The Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand
The Register of Political Parties will be updated accordingly.
