Information for candidates
The Electoral Commission has launched a new Candidate Hub on elections.nz.
The Hub has all the information candidates need for the 2023 General Election, from getting nominated to running their campaign.
New videos have been created explaining how to become a candidate, the rules for campaigning and declaring expenses for election advertising, and the rules for donations and loans.
The Candidate and Scrutineer Handbooks can also be found in the Hub, as well as the individual nomination form for candidates, and the candidate return form.
