Registration of The Opportunities Party (TOP)
Today the Electoral Commission has registered The Opportunities Party (TOP) under Part 4 of the Electoral Act 1993.
The party’s logo application, which was lodged at the same time as the party registration application, cannot be processed further until after the last day for the return of the writ for the Mt Albert by-election (Thursday 16 March) in accordance with section 71E of the Electoral Act.
