Election day tomorrow in Northcote
Voters in the Northcote electorate will have the final say tomorrow on who will be their next local Member of Parliament.
Saturday 9 June is election day in the Northcote by-election. 16 voting places will be open from 9am to 7pm on Saturday in the suburbs of Beach Haven, Birkdale, Birkenhead, Glenfield, Little Shoal Bay and Northcote.
“If you live in the Northcote electorate, remember that today, Friday 8 June, is the last day you can enrol to vote in the by-election. You cannot enrol on election day,” says Anita Balakrishnan, National Manager of Voting Services.
“The easiest way to enrol at this stage is at an advance voting place. You’ll find more information on our website www.elections.org.nz.”
