Kids Voting – Te Pōti a Ngā Tamariki is the Electoral Commission’s civics education programme that is designed to help your students understand how voting works and encourage them to take part. 

We provide resources that align with levels 1 to 5 of the New Zealand Social Sciences Curriculum, and level 5 of Te Marautanga o Aotearoa. The material is flexible so you can adjust it to your students’ needs and experiences. 

We want to hear about how you found Kids Voting - Te Pōti a Ngā Tamariki 2023 and understand how we can improve our educational resources for the future.
